Stan Voket ...
I THINK I need a text retreival system to organize and store these
articles in a fashion such that they can be searched for content
and key words and reread, thus fullfilling their intended
     purpose.

There was a package posted to comp.sources.unix or comp.sources.misc a
few months ago called "lqtext" written by Liam Quin that
creates/maintains a full-text index of unix files. I wrote and have
been using a similar (but less functional) version of the same for
about a year now and couldn't live without it.

Having this sort of facility is a start.... I'm working on something
more comprehensive called "Rufus" which tries to describe more aspects
of the data you keep and allow you to make use of it. If you would
like to read about Rufus, send me your mailing address and I'll send a
description of it.
