[news.sysadmin] Question about smail3.x

jessea@dynasys.UUCP (Jesse W. Asher) (10/08/90)

I was wondering how smail3.x performed with regard to networking by default.
I would like to implement it on a ethernet TCP/IP network on SCO Open Desktop,
but I don't want to replace SCO's sendmail unless I know that there will not
be any problems with it running under this kind of environment. Just as
important, I can't spend days configuring it. Will the default configuration
handle this kind of environment? I appreciate any assistance.
