I'm posting this for a friend who is having trouble with his Newsfeed and asked for my help. Please reply DIRECTLY TO HIM and by Email, as he is having a bit of trouble reading news (as you will read). Steven ============================================================================== We recently converted to C - news after a major systems crash trashed our B - news files. After recovering our b - news files as best we could, our feeder sight would transmit us news, but we could not read it. -- the system error message to a "vnews" request was " No News" Figuring that we had done sever damage to our b - news files we obtained a copy of c- news and completed the conversion. We have just discovered that we still have the problem of not being able to read. We have reviewed the systems documentation and the latest O'Reilly " Managing uucp and usenet" with the c - news documentation update. Does anyone have any idea why we get the "No News" error message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
