hubert@entropy.ms.washington.edu (Steve Hubert) (11/14/86)
I have one small problem with 2.11. Our uucp name is not the same as our internet name. The uucp name is uw-entropy and the internet name is entropy. I would like to have articles that come through here have uw-entropy added on the Path: header. But, they should use the domain name, entropy.ms.washington.edu for the From: field. I defined GHNAME so that when I post an article I get: Path: entropy!hubert From: hubert@entropy.ms.washington.edu (Steve Hubert) Is there a way for me to have the Path: field use uw-entropy while the From: field still looks like it does above? It looks like it requires at least some hacking since both are using the same variable now. Maybe someone has done this or knows the minimal set of changes necessary to do it. By the way, uuname -l returns uw-entropy because my uucp name is in /etc/uucpname.
