I have seen many articles on the subject of News on a IBM PC/AT running some flavor of Xenix. I have posted a couple articles myself. Seeing that so many people seem to want it, would it be unreasonable to ask that a version of News that will run on an AT running Xenix be kept at at least one of the mod.sources or net.sources archive sites? This would only need to be a patch (or maybe two or three or more, depending on the size) that could be kept up to date. Once this was started, it probably wouldn't be very difficult to keep going and it would save a lot of people a lot of trouble. My cat can quack, can yours? genghis!sns@csvax.Caltech.Edu
