I've noticed the following feature while running postnews, News 2.11 at patchlevel 8 (I noticed it also in the orig. 2.11, but assumed it would get fixed when I upgraded my software). I ran postnews and selected n (n>1) groups to crosspost to. One (and only one) of the groups happened to be moderated. I got a nice message stating that the group was moderated and that my article would be mailed to appropriate person. According to my syslog, it was. However, the message NEVER appeared in any of the other n-1 groups! Anyways, anybody fix this one? If not, I would be willing to take it on in the true spirit of USENET. Or am I just a misguided, lost soul (IE: IT'S REALLY A FEATURE, not a bug). -- Kurt Zeilenga (zeilenga@hc.dspo.gov)

Thats a feature. The moderator of the group should post it to all of the groups at once. --rick

Seems like it would be a waste of net resources to have two copies of essentially the same article floating around (at different times even, depending on how long the moderator takes to post it).
