Vnews currently doesn't recognize meta-chracters like ~ when I am prompted for a pathname into which a news article should be written (use the "s" command to save to a file). I'd like to see csh-style expansion of meta-things in Vnews.

Hopefully, vnews uses this variable before is spawns a subprocess... "Use the Source, Luke.
