I've been going through the C news stuff, which claims better performance as one of its virtues. Just out of curiousity, I'd like to see some recent performance numbers from anyone who would care to send them to me. For example, we're running B news 2.11 on an Apollo dsp90 (a slightly obsolete machine with 68020 and 3 Meg of memory) and get about 600 articles per hour through rnews.
