I tried compiling the netnews software recently, and got an error message from make: Make: Must be a seperator on rules line 124. Stop. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what was going on. Eventually I resorted to the ugly task of hand-compiling everything. I got the stuff to work, but I'd like to know what's the deal here so that I can re-compile in an easier way if I need to in the future. This is News B 2.11 patchlevel 14 on an IBM RT PC running AIX (Sys V). Any help would be appreciated. -- Kevin Burnett Stanford Linear Accelerator Centre / Santa Clara Class of '88 Arpa: kevin@Lindy.Stanford.EDU Bitnet: KJBSF@SLACVM.BITNET Old-style UUCP: ...!decwrl!labrea!Lindy!kevin
