Wobble-Factor: huge Excuse my ignorance, but what is the current state of the netnews software with respect to: a - NFS b - NNTP c - news on the PC The reason I'm asking is that we might be getting a huge Unix box soon, on which I hope to run netnews. I'm looking for the best way for PC users to access this. We're looking at PC-NFS, with SPOOLDIR and/or LIBDIR being exported from the Unix host to other Unix boxes & PCs. Maybe NNTP has serves a known port which a PC program could ask for news articles? Is there any software for the PC to read netnews available at the moment? Perhaps it's best if only the authors of the news software answer this query, otherwise the results will probably be repeated unnecessarily.
