[news.software.b] Problem with files being truncated

Here at the University of Maine we are running the Netnews package from
PSU on our 3090 running VM/SP. We are experiencing problems with files
losing lines on the end. Has anyone else had any problems like this, and
if so, how did you solve it? I'm pretty certain that the problem is at
the server level and not a problem with our user software.
