davep@tekecs.UUCP (Dave Patterson) (01/22/85)
I am looking for a "List of LISPS", similiar to the "List of Prologs" recently posted to net.lang.prolog. That list had information about the dialects' name, version, what language the source code was written in and for what operating system. It also had information on the dialects' availability, cost, status and whom to contact. In addition to this, I am also interested in differences between the various dialects, difficulty of porting (and/or estimate of porting time [+/- 4 months]), and in opinions (with reasons) as to the "best" dialect to port to a CAD/CAM workstation. I am particularly interested Common Lisp, Franz Lisp and PSL. As usual, I will post a summary if there is sufficient interest or mail summaries to those who wish me to if there is insufficient interest to post to the net. Thanks for any help, David Patterson Tektronix, Inc. Wilsonville Industrial Park P.O.
