Hello.
I am running Bnews 2.11.14 that was setup a while back by an acquaintence of
mine. Recently I started poking around all the files and checking out the
programs trying to learn what their functions are (I didn't get TFM with the
software so I couldn't RTFM). I came across two files that I have questions
about.
First, is /usr/lib/news/mailpaths, currently, this is what it looks like:
backbone %s
internet %s
Is that the correct setup for it?
Second, in /usr/lib/news/newsgroups there is a list of groups with a one line
description of each. I really do not think this is a current list. Is there
any way to get this file updated and for me to make sure that all the groups
listed within it are current? And along the same lines, is there a way to
check my active file to see if I have the correct groups, etc?
Any guidance that anyone can give would really be helpful and appreciated!
