TMN-netnews beta level 7 patch 4 is out. Yes, this is just a day after patch
7.3 -- for the excellent reason that it fixes one of the two most severe
known problems, a core dump in expire that had a nasty habit of trashing the
active file on the way out. This one was apparently masked on my development
80386 by SVr3 pcc's habit of zeroing automatic variables.
The kits on linc.cis.upenn.edu (under ~/dist/tmnn) have been updated to level
7.4. Note that their subdirectory is now 'beta7.4'; similar directories will
be created for future kit sets.
And TMNN has gone intercontinental...a test site signed up from Australia
yesterday...
