[news.software.b] rn munges References and Reply-To headers

We are running rn 4.3.40, and I noticed that in followups, it converts
Internet domain addresses in the Reply-To and References header lines
to addresses of the form host.UUCP.  Has this ailment it been noticed
before?  If so, is there a (official, perhaps) patch to fix this
before I modify the source?
