I installed the C news software and have noticed two things: it is much
faster and I frequently get duplicate articles. The only difference between
the duplicates are the Path: and Xref: fields. The have the same message ids
so why doesn't relaynews (or whoever checks ids) figure out that they are
the same?
We are using HP-UX which is mostly System V. It does not have dbm so I am
using the on supplied with C news.
B news was such a burden to our system that I can't justify going back to
it. However, the multiple articles is annoying and space consuming so any
help would be appreciated.
