Is there any software for helping to move a .newsrc to another system?
This obviously could not work perfectly, but it seems like something
useful could be done. The program could read the .newsrc on the
original system and extract the unique article id's (where available)
for those marked read. On the destination side the reverse could be
done, in building a new .newsrc.
Again, this is far from perfect, but a lot better than what I do now
(just zap all the marked article numbers out of the file).
