davison@drivax.UUCP (Wayne Davison) writes about his C-coded upact... Good thing. I wrote one a couple of years ago and repeatedly pointed out to G & H that the shell script code is unacceptably slow, but since they don't run it every week like us they didn't believe me. Now perhaps we'll see one of these C versions in a future (oh nooo!) patch-du-jour... :-) rayan
