sysop@sixhub.UUCP (BBS system operator) (08/28/89)
I am running IHAVE between two machines, and I want to put the control at the receiving end. I though from reading the manual that I could set the sys file for the sender to "world, all" and use the sys file at the receiver to control what was requested. This isn't happening, and the junk group on the receiving end is getting very full. I know I can set the groups at the sending end, but this means that everytime something changes that the administrator at the sending end has to change the sys file. Am I missing something, or is this just not supported. I am using notation like "!soc.all" at the receiving end, would "!soc" work better (I thought I tried it)? Reply by mail or post if you think anyone else cares.
