I've installed B-News 2.11 and NNTP 1.5.5 on my system. Everything works great, except when people try to post to moderated groups. Here is an example. I composed a message to comp.sys.sun. I got the following feed back: --- Send, abort, edit, or list? send comp.sys.sun is moderated and may not be posted to directly. Your article is being mailed to the moderator who will post it for you. --- Then, I get a mailer bounce which looks like this: --- From: Mailer-Daemon@alfred.Teknowledge.COM (Mail Delivery Subsystem) Subject: Returned mail: User unknown To: mwolf@alfred.Teknowledge.COM ----- Transcript of session follows ----- 550 comp-sys-sun...
