I seem to be having a slight problem creating batches. From documentation, I
should be able to have the line
maps:comp.mail.maps:F:/usr/lib/news/maps/comp.mail.maps/Batch
However, this batch is never created. All permissions are correct. It seems
that since no distribution (such as world) is specified, none of the
articles are placed in the batch. If I place "world" in the line, the
articles will be placed in the batch IF they have a distribution of "world".
If the newsgroup has as the first name one of the distributions (for
instance "ne"), then nothing else is needed.
From what I understand, I should not have to specify any distrubutions on
this line. Any pointers? Should "comp" be added to
/usr/lib/news/distributions?
