Hi. I have not followed all the discussions about cnews in the past and now that i've installed some version of cnews i am a bit confused as to which patchlevel/date/whatever marks the newest release: - How can i find out which version of cnews my sources are ? - which is the newest version/patchlevel/date ? - where can i get patches from via ftp, in case i am using an old version ? Shurely this has been asked may times, but as the documentaion says nothing about it .. (Note that the original posting interacted badly with some of the unwanted "intelligence" in the patch program, so a revised version went out a day or two later.) >- where can i get patches from via ftp, in case i am using an old version ? The comp.sources.unix archives, e.g. on uunet, should have all of them. -- A bit of tolerance is worth a | Henry Spencer at U of Toronto Zoology megabyte of flaming. | uunet!attcan!utzoo!henry henry@zoo.toronto.edu
