As I speak I am installing patch #8 to B2.11 news. (of course I have already installed 0-7). This is the highest patch file I could find in the comp.sources.unix archives at osu-cis. Is this the highest patch? Should I be deathly afraid that I don't have patches 9 and above? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Nick Sayer | quack!mrapple@uop.edu or cheers!quack!mrapple@apple.com ... or { apple!cheers | pacbell!cogent!uop }!quack!mrapple Packet radio: N6QQQ @ WB6V | (209) 952-5347 300/1200/2400 - login guest Disclaimer: The BBC would like to appologise for that announcement

Deathly afraid, no. Looking in a better place, yes. I hadn't even
realized there were patches hiding there. Ask for
osu-cis!~/news/PatchXX.Z instead, for XX between 01 and 19.

Those chunks of the archives are only sporadically maintained,
particularly since Paul Placeway left. Check osu-cis!~/GNU.how-to-get
to find patches up through #19 in osu-cis!~/news/Patch??.Z.

This is the highest >patch file I could find in the comp.sources.unix archives at >osu-cis. Not all patches to c.s.unix programs get posted to that group. In addition to the osu-cis place, ~/news/bnews-2.11/patches on uunet. -- Please send comp.sources.unix-related mail to rsalz@uunet.uu.net.
