[net.music] The new ABC Album

gts@wjh12.UUCP (G. T. Samson) (10/04/85)

Has anybody seen the new ABC album? What does its cover look like? And
what else is off it, besides "Be Near Me"? (That's the only single I've
seen.)

It's hard to describe the cover. It has a silver and black border around a
colourful pink, yellow and blue square pattern.
The 3 singles are, in release order, "How To Be A Millionaire", "Be Near Me"
and "Vanity Kills". I think only "Be Near Me" has been released in this
country. I know all have been out in the UK quite a while: Millionaire 9/84,
Near 1/85, Vanity 6/85.
All 3 singles are very good, in the ABC mode, though Vanity particularly
stands out and Millionaire is clearly the weakest.
