I know this is common question number 21, but could someone explain what I
need to set up a local moderated news group. I am running B news 2.11, and
have read the documentation. The documentation seems to imply that if you
post an article to a moderated news group it gets magically forwarded to
your nearest local backbone site to be forwarded to the moderator.
What I want to do is set up some local news groups that forward to a local
distribution of news machines. I want the articles that are posted to this
news group to be forwarded to me so I can post them. I also don't want the
article to escape from this local distribution of news machines.
If this has been discussed before would you please forward the old messages
to me. Also does anyone have a discussion about what a moderator does, is
responsible for, and how they approve messages?
