I just noticed the following in Bnews: If you write out the file to a workfile and then ZZ, you get a 'file not changed' message, and the news entry is NOT posted! Also, I'm running Bnews 2.11 dated 10/13/86. This is not a bug but a feature, and not in Bnews but in "vi", the editor you (unkowingly, it seems) use to create your files. ZZ is short for "write the file if it has not been saved yet and exit" note that it doesn't care *where* you saved the file, it doesn't have to be in the same file you started with. The "correct" way to exit vi is ":wq". You can change the default editor Bnews uses by changing the EDITOR environment variable.
