[news.software.b] 2 initial questions on running CNEWS

yale@efi.com (Yale Rosenblatt) (06/07/90)

I have just finished installing cnews and for the most
part it seems to work OK. The first question I have concerns
the automatic installing of new newsgroups. When I built cnews,
I don't remember being asked if I wanted this done FOR me or

When I used to administer Bnews way back when, I was able
to add newsgroups manually. I'd like to still do that.
The second strangeness to come up is when I look at the
header of a typical article, my name comes up as the sender.

Can someone give me some help with either of the
two above situations?
