Does this mean that there will not be a B news version 3.0 as such, and that we will all be migrating to Teenage Mutant Ninja Netnews (TMNN) ?!? TMNN == B3.0, by decision of Rick Adams (maintainer of B2.nn) some time ago. The alternative is to migrate to C News. Or not to migrate at all, as witness some of the antediluvian systems that turn up in who's-running-what reports. -- That's not a joke, that's | Henry Spencer at U of Toronto Zoology NASA. -Nick Szabo | uunet!attcan!utzoo!henry henry@zoo.toronto.edu

When one has made extensive modifications to a news system, one is reluctant to "upgrade" to a new one that requires even more custom configuration. -- `-_-' Peter da Silva <peter@ficc.uu.net> <peter@sugar.lonestar.org>. I have asked this a couple times now with no response, so I'll try the third time before I hang my head in dejection and rejection: What is happening to Bnews 3.0? Will it be officially released? Is there a newer version than the tmnn7-8 I got by ftp from uunet? I am *VERY* interested in this, since there are several features in there I would like to have running here even in Beta. -- == Mark Warren Bull HN Information Systems Inc. == == (508) 294-3171 (FAX 671-3020) 300 Concord Road MS820A == == mwarren@granite.cr.bull.com Billerica, MA 01821 ==
