I'm getting as many as 30% of my articles as duplicates. I'm not sure how to resolve the problem and am seeking advice. My site is a leaf node, getting its news feed from only one site. My source gets its feed primarily from one site ("A") but a portion from a second source ("B"). Site "A" also gets its feed from "B". The only difference in the duplicated articles is the "Path" line in the header. One of each pair comes to my feed directly from site "B", the other indirectly via site "A". I was under the impression that the distribution software would eliminate duplicate articles (based on Message-ID), but that is certainly not happening at my site, nor at my feed site. My news software is 2.11.19, using the dbz library. My system is an AT&T 3B1 (aka unix-pc) running a unix release that is approximately SVR2. Any suggestions would be appreciated. -- Jon LaBadie {att, princeton, bcr}!jonlab!jon {att, attmail, bcr}!auxnj!jon
