Excuse me if this is old news to some but I discovered a problem when replying to an article using Rnmail. Rnmail makes the assuption that "/usr/lib/news/recmail" does *not* append a .signature to the letter. However, using the recmail distributed by sco (binary) it does append a signature. This results in the infamous (and highly annoying) double sig! So if your using the recmail binary from sco and answering [y] to append sig in Rmail....you guessed it. Your letter will have that silly looking DS (acronym for double sig). So, do your part to stamp out double sigs and check your outgoing mail and articles!!!!! Thanks, double sig police -- --------------------------- uucp: holston!barton pseudo: barton@holston.UUCP

Double sigs are almost as annoying as putting control-L at the start of your signature. -- D'Arcy J.M.
