Cnews has a couple compiling problems on SCO XENIX 286 2.2.3 One is that in the "./rna" directory there are some programs, namely readnews.c headers.c history.c to name a couple that do this sort of thing: if (!iflag) etc... Right there at that if statement I get an error from the compiler: [filename.c]([linenumber]) : warning 54 `!' : illegal with enums [filename.c]([linenumber]) : error 116 : `!' : bad right operand Now you take out that `!' and it compiles fine, but invoke it, and everything appears to go fine for a couple of seconds, but then it falls on it's face like a child learning to walk on a skating rink. I've been trying to figure out some way around this since it's obviously a bug in the compiler, seeing as it works when you compile it on other machines. So could someone please help me out?? By the way, can I get a better postnews from somewhere without ftp capabilities?? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Karl J.
