The New York University Computer Science Dept. is developing software for the automated analysis of narrative messages describing equipment failures. This research combines an extension of our prior work on text analysis with the detailed modelling of physical systems. Work will be done on Symbolics LISP Machines and VAXen. We have an immediate opening for a programmer with LISP experience to join our team of computational linguistics researchers. If you are interested, send resume at once to Prof. Ralph Grishman Courant Institute - New York Univ. 251 Mercer Street New York, NY 10012 or (on ARPANET) to grishman@nyu
