I am running NNTP-1.5.10 / C-News 15-Dec-1990 on a SPARC 1 with SunOS 4.1. When I run rn on an SGI 4D/220 with IRIX 3.3.2 to remotely access my news server, rn aborts with the message 'rrn: Unexpected close of server socket' everytime I save or reply to an article. If the article is the last one in the particular newsgroup, it proceeds to mark every newsgroup in my .newsrc file as bogus.
