Last weekend our Sun 3/160 (68020) was upgraded from SunOS 4.0.3 to 4.1.1. Finally nntp access between the outside and this news/mail server works, fair. UUCP - news feed is HARD DOWN. News neighbors can call but cannot exchange files with us. The HDB files for rnews rmail etc are configured, UUCP rnews seems to work okay. News ( B 2.11.14 ) is rebuilt and STILL wont work .. What is the remaining hidden detail I have missed ??? Thanks for any help. I can only post here at NOSC, not read and there is NO reading this group on my system. Email replies will be very useful.
