Not sure if this is the correct group to post this to, so if not, would
some kind person point me in the right direction?
I am suddenly having a couple of problems with rn.
1) Newly added newsgroups (added with inews -C) cannot be added to
the .newsrc files. I keep getting the error "Warning: Bogus
newsgroup xxxx" or "Newsgroup xxx does not exist" if I try and
do a 'g' to subscribe. The group exists in my active file and
all of the directories have been created with proper permissions
and ownerships. As best I can determine from browsing through
rn's sources, I have room for 1000 groups in .newsrc and I
currently only have 672, active currently has 1057 entries.
2) Suddenly rn says it can't read my .signature file, says it must
be readable by new owner. .signature's permissions are 644
Anyone out there got any great words of wisdom? Please e-mail responses
and I'll post a synopsis for others that may run into this.
Many thanks!
