My site is running Bnews 2.11, and I have a problem that I've been staring at and simply cannot see the answer. If you glance at the Path: line for this message, you see that it comes from sei!network. I would like to change it to be from <my_domain>!<userid>, where <my_domain> is sei.cmu.edu. For the life of me I cannot see what I need to change in the configuration files to get this to happen. If anyone can shed some light for me, I'd appreciate it. Let me clarify things a little. I realize now that the userid part is correct...I have some software which takes incoming mail and pipes it into netnews, and all articles posted by this software has userid "network" for now. I guess the real question, is where is the system name set up in B news? I have the following defined in defs.h: #define INTERNET #define MYDOMAIN "sei.cmu.edu" #define GHNAME #define HIDDENNET "as0c" Thanks, Tod Pike -- Internet: tgp@sei.cmu.edu Mail: Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute Pittsburgh, PA. 15213-3980
