I have multiple feeds. For a variety of reasons, I don't (and they don't) want me to forward news from other sites. This is easily done with the exclusions field of the Cnews sys file. Now, one site says, can you feed me just soc.*. It seems the answer is no. You take everything, or I loose my ability to propogate news through your site, even though you don't keep that group locally. Is there any way around this? It was: dsinet/ole,quick:alt,bionet,gnu,opinions,or,pdx,pubnet,u3b,unix-pc,usrgrp,comp,misc,news,pnw,rec,sci,seattle,soc,talk,to.dsinet/all:f: I can post through them, and other feeds don't propogate to them. Now its: dsinet:alt,bionet,gnu,opinions,or,pdx,pubnet,u3b,unix-pc,usrgrp,comp,misc,news,pnw,rec,sci,seattle,soc,talk,to.dsinet/all:f: And they get everything. They just discard what they don't want. I saw someone mention multiple entries for the same site... this may be a solution: dsinet/ole,quick:alt,bionet,gnu,opinions,or,pdx,pubnet,u3b,unix-pc,usrgrp,comp,misc,news,pnw,rec,sci,seattle,talk,to.dsinet/all:f: dsinet:soc/all:f: -- Joe Garvey uucp: sumax!quick!johnny5!garvey J5 Research map entries are wrong for johnny5. They're Bothell, Wa. being fixed. Please use address above.
