Current setup: Sun4/280, SunOS4.0.3 Cnews w/nntp I can no longer tolerate my system crashing every other day because of a BAD TRAP. The only solution I have heard of that is reliable is to upgrade to SunOS4.1.1. My question is, does anyone know if this transition will be painless for Cnews? Will I be able to just make the necessary changes in inetd.conf, etc and run the former executables? I have everything for NetNews on one 900Mb disk, and I would like to be able to just start everything back up once the system is upgraded. I realize that I will have to make subtle changes, such as making the proper additions to the crontab, but I am more concerned with having to recompile and start from day one again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -- Don Cox Phone (716) 253-7121 KMX (716) 253-7998 INTERNET dcox@ssd.kodak.com
