I am running (or attempting to run) CNews on an AT&T 3B2/500 System V Rel 3.2.1 and have a problem with the expire program dumping core halfway through the process. I have not looked into it in much detail, but also noticed the same problem when running mkhistory, and the problem appears to be related to the histinfo program, possibly the fgetmfs function. Before I go crazy looking for the problem, I was wondering if there are known problems of this nature with running CNews on System V 3.2, or on a 3B2, and if there are any known fixes to the problem.
