I have occasionally noticed that article headers are being rewritten, ie. the same Message-ID will be both rejected and accepted. It appears that some news sites are "correcting" errant headers by 1) removing empty headers and/or 2) headers that are missing the blank after the `:'. Is this is a `feature' of some versions of news systems? Does C News rewrite headers? -- Bob Thrush rd@aii.com Automation Intelligence,Inc.,1200 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32804

C News, as a matter of fervently held religious belief, does **NOT** rewrite headers (except for Path and Xref, which any news system must alter). We've seen too much grief caused by well-meant header rewriting. -- And the bean-counter replied, | Henry Spencer @ U of Toronto Zoology "beans are more important". | henry@zoo.toronto.edu utzoo!henry
