I have a couple of mail lists that get their messages pumped into recnews by the mail aliases file. Recnews posts the mail messages to local newsgroups so readers can read with NN, rather than filling their mailboxes. Now for the tricky part. When a user wants to Followup an article (mail message) what should really happen is a mailing of the article to the mail list dist address, rather than a posting in the normal sense. For example, mail from sco-list gets posted to the local group "twg.sco-list". Followups should be mailed to "sco-list-request@uunet.uu.net". Any ideas on how to set this up? I would ideally like the fact that it is a mail list fed newsgroup transparent to the user, so that they could treat it like any other newsgroup. -- Bill Irwin - The Westrheim Group - Vancouver, BC, Canada ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ uunet!van-bc!twg!bill (604) 431-9600 (voice) | Your Computer bill@twg.bc.ca (604) 430-4329 (fax) | Systems Partner
