1) site 'mot' is dead.  the VAX has been removed.  its connectivity
   has been partially picked up by:  ellymae, tower, mcdsun, and motpdq.
   since we did not earlier anticipate this happening, 'ellymae' and 'tower'
   have not followed the 'mot...' or 'mcd...' pattern.  there is another
   site 'nud' here as well with outside connectivity.

   while ellymae, mcdsun, and motpdq are believed to be unique names,
   the systems on our LAN w/o modems have made no attempt at unique names.
