Why does mindless trivia have to pervade this network? I don't want to have to skip through twenty `album survey' headers just to read the one or two interesting articles in net.music. People with this top-20 mentality tend to be pretty mainsteam. A twenty line review of a performance or group says a lot more that 20 titles. And what is the reasoning behind `If there is an overwhelming amount of news in a group this implies great reader interest'? More likely a lot of canned articles are being generated by people without the imagination to submit anything creative. Eric Gisin, U of Waterloo
