On Monday, 1/19/87, we did an upgrade to our operating system, everything
possible went wrong, and it took over 10 hours. As a result, I forgot to
replace the version of uucp provided by Integrated Solutions with the one
we had been running (the 4.3 version that came out with 2.11 news). As a
result, our uucp system fell apart completely. Since I took the day off
on Tuesday to go skiing, and the person left in charge knows little about
uucp, the problem did not get fixed until Wednesday morning. Most, if not
all, mail and news going through hao from Monday morning until Wednesday
morning was lost. Sorry for the inconvenience. Everything seems to be
working again now.
