This afternoon, /usr/spool ran out of inodes, no doubt dropping some mail and news on its way through the machine. Later tonight the news file system itself filled. In addition, the machine itself has an intermittent hardware problem (random CPU double error halts) that can clobber mail and news. With the replacement of its ICL and SBH boards, mimsy's CPU double error halt problem appears to be fixed.
