[news.config] cbosgd problems???

dsp@ptsfa.UUCP (07/02/87)

I tried sending some mail to Mark Horton this morning. It bounced trying
to forward to cbterra. I then tried sending mail to "root" & "postmaster"
with similar results.

Mark, are you out there? What's going on?

It fills a well-needed gap.

I also had probelms last night with email to cbosgd -
I was sending in map updates to uucpmap@cbosgd and the
failure was on resolving the forward to rutgers.

my attempt to email mark@cbosgd to inform him of problems also failed...

cbosgd has been sending bogus mail fail messages. Anyway, mail to or through
cbosgd from ncoast gets through fine.

Note that cbosgd no longer talks to the CWRU machines due to phone problems
at CWRU; this effectively removes the cbosgd!hal and cbosgd!cwruecmp links
and makes the cbosgd!ncoast link (now active due to CWRU's phone problems)
*the* link hereabouts. Unfortunately, nobody warned CWRU and nobody warned
us, so routing is a bit screwed up....
