For the last week or so, the comp.mail.elm or some such newsgroup is creating havoc on my system. Somehow, it crashes rnews and creates a dead.letter and core file in my .rnews directory, forcing me to have to remove the locks and restart rnews -U. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? -- Robert C. Next morning, I found 40 inews processes stuck in that control message. It was necessary to kill rnews (and thereby lose the batch) to clear the problem.
