Scott Hall of Chemical Abstracts Service (chemabs) has let me know that they are temporarily off the air. Their Ultrix 2.1 pack got munched, followed quickly by their Ultrix 1.1 pack. DEC Field Service said that they will be back up by sometime Saturday, January 30, 1988. They will resume polling osu-cis at that time. If you get warning mail from osu-cis!uucp or osu-cis!MAILER-DAEMON or some such, don't worry about it too much. Stuff will stay queued for longer than it's supposed to take for their drives to come back to the land of the living.
