As many of you have noticed, mit-eddie (aka eddie.mit.edu) has been up and down (mostly down) for about a week. This has been the result of a strange CPU failure, which DEC FS has been attempting to correct. Since the repair attempts have not yet been successful, I can not say how much longer this situation will continue. Jeff Siegal
