While not wanting to parallel discussion going on in net.dcom........ I cannot speak to the ease of interaction with uucp functions. However, for general user friendliness, lots of options, reliability, and fairly decent security, my vote goes to the Ven-Tel MD 212 PLUS. We have been using one of these as a trial service from our Develcon Dataswitch, and it is hard to see how we lived without it.
